Richard L. Grier, Esq.

Richard L. Grier is a founding principal of the Strategic Transitions Advisory Group. He is an attorney with the Richmond, Virginia law firm of Thompson McMullan, P.C. where he has been a principal for the last seven years. Richard has specialized in the purchase and sales of dental practices for over 10 years – including employment agreements, stockholder buy and sell agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and leases. His practice also involves the commercial and income tax aspects of businesses and their owners including acquisitions, mergers, sales and dissolution, personal and business income planning and estate tax planning.

Gary Hollender

Gary Hollender has over 35 years experience working with dentists as a consultant and business coach, assisting dentists in creating sound business plans as well as transitioning dentists to help them achieve their professional and financial goals. He works with dentists who would like to purchase an existing practice or sell an existing practice, as well as dentists who would like become a partner in an existing practice. He also specializes in working with entrepreneurial dentists who want to open multiple office locations. As a founding principal of Strategic Transitions Advisory Group his goal is to assist dentists in achieving their dream of practice ownership and business prosperity. 

Rose Steele

As her specialty, Rose Steele, our practice management adviser and staff recruiter, has been managing and consulting with million dollar plus dental practices for over 25 years. As a former business owner of a practice management consulting company and a current partner in Strategic Transitions Advisory Group, she has a passion to bring current technology and workable practice systems and solutions to dental offices. Her enthusiasm to teach staff and to problem solve assists offices in becoming organized, efficient, financially productive and technologically advanced.
